This research was conducted to analyze the application of total quality management (TQM) and supply chain management (SCM) in UMKM in Tasikmalaya city to improve the performance of UMKM operations. And to understand which methods can improve the performance of UMKM operations. Using the probability sampling method by spreading questionnaires against 90 UMKM who apply the TQM and SCM methods in the operation process. Hypothesis tests using multiple regressions with research results have significant influences on the application of TQM and SCM to improve operatic performance during the covid-19 pandemic in UMKM in tasikmalaya city.
This research objectives aims to determine and analyze raw material inventory control, the ideal raw material inventory that the company must provide and the efficiency of production costs carried out by Jatisri Furniture Work in Tasikmalaya for the period 2018.11 – 2020.02. The data collection method in this study is by direct observation at Jatisari Furniture Work in Tasikmalaya. Using techniques such us interviews, observation, and documentation. These observations were made in production reports for the years 2018 – 2020. The analysis tool was carried out using the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method such us safety stock, reorder point, and total inventory cost. The result of the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) analysis show that the total cost of raw the material inventory that must be incurred by the company is greater than the total cost of inventories calculated according to the EOQ method. Companies should follow the calculations from the EOQ method so that they can save on raw material inventory costs, so that production costs are more efficient.
The purpose of this article is first to find out emotional intelligence, intellectual intelligence, and the quality of tourism human resources in Pangandaran beach tourism objects after the determination of the Covid-19 pandemic, second to find out how high the influence of emotional intelligence and intellectual intelligence simultaneously on the quality of tourism human resources in Pangandaran beach tourism object after the determination of the Covid-19 pandemic, and the third is to know the effect of emotional intelligence and intellectual intelligence partially on the quality of tourism human resources in Pangandaran beach tourism objects after the determination of the Covid-19 pandemic. The method used to achieve the above objectives is an explanatory research method, the use of this method is because researchers do not only describe empirical facts found in the field, but also intend to analyze and explain the influence between variables. Subjects are human resources for tourism in Pangandaran beach with a sampling system. The results of this study, first, emotional intelligence and intellectual intelligence have a significant effect simultaneously on the quality of tourism human resources in Pangandaran Beach tourism objects. Second, emotional intelligence does not have a partially significant effect on the quality of tourism human resources in Pangandaran Beach tourism objects. This is if interpreted in more detail, where emotional intelligence still has an influence on the quality of tourism human resources in Pangandaran Beach tourism objects but is very small at 1.61%. Third, intellectual intelligence has a partially significant influence on the quality of tourism human resources in Pangandaran Beach tourism objects.
Purpose: This study aims to determine the emotional intelligence, adaptability, and employee engagement of non-manager employees at the Hotel Ramayana Tasikmalaya, to examine the effect of emotional intelligence, and adaptability simultaneously and partially on employee engagement of non-manager employees at the Hotel Ramayana Tasikmalaya. Methodology/approach: The research method used in this research is descriptive quantitative method with a census approach. Data collection techniques based on data sources in this study the author uses a questionnaire method. The analytical technique used in this study are validity test, reliability test, classical assumption test, multiple linear regression analysis, correlation and determination coefficient analysis, F test, and t test. Results/findings: Emotional intelligence and adaptability simultaneously have a significant effect on employee engagement Hotel Ramayana Tasikmalaya; adaptability partially has a significant effect on employee engagement at Hotel Ramayana Tasikmalaya; emotional intelligence partially has a significant effect on employee engagement at Hotel Ramayana Tasikmalaya. Limitations: This study only assessed the variables of emotional intelligence, adaptability and employee involvement, and only non-manager workers who worked at the Ramayana Tasikmalaya Hotel, as well as the clear limited literacy on emotional intelligence and adaptability. Contribution: This study provides suggestions for Hotel Ramayana Tasikmalaya to provide rewards for outstanding employees, strengthen the kinship of fellow employees, provide training, and need to improve things that can affect the level of employee engagement. This research was conducted with the aim of knowing the effect of the work environment and work motivation on teacher work discipline. A case study of teachers at Vocational High School Muhammadiyah Tasikmalaya. The method used in this study is a survey method using data obtained directly through questionnaires distributed to 30 respondents who are teachers of Vocational High School Muhammdiyah Tasikmalaya. The technique used in this research is Path Analysis. The results showed that: (1) the work environment had a positive and significant effect on the work Motivation of teachers at Vocational High School Muhammadiyah Tasikmalaya; (2) the work environment has a positive and significant effect on work discipline; (3) there is a positive and significant influence of work motivation on work discipline for teacher of Vocational High School Muhammadiyah Tasikmalaya (4) the work environment has a significant effect on work discipline through work motivation
