The goal of the research was to analyze, through textual strategies, how the political-ideological use of football took place in advertisements of the federal government elaborated for the 2014 World Cup. For this, we used the guidelines of Textual Analysis based on Semiotics. The analysis showed that federal government used soccer for political-ideological purposes by reinforcing the feeling of patriotism, combating racism, the presence of intentions to promote acceptance of the World Cup in Brazil and, intertextual relations with the political platform of the Workers' Party, which at that time ruled the country and would run for reelection in 2014.
Currently, one of the biggest challenges in Physical Education remains the theoretical discussion combined with the procedures of practical classes. Thus, the objective of the study was to analyze the possibilities and limitations of the theme “balance yourself”, based on the proposal of Pedagogy of the Movement, at different levels of education, in Physical Education classes. For 0this, the descriptive method of the experience report type was adopted. The same lesson plan proposal was applied in three different classes, namely, Elementary, High School and University (Physical Education Degree). After analyzing the reports, it was possible to identify similarities between the interventions, such as: acceptance of the lesson proposal and feelings of motivation and satisfaction in working in groups. Differences, on the other hand, occurred when students in High School were afraid to touch their classmates and in University, fear and insecurity did not stand out as in other levels of education. Finally, we conclude that there is potential in this pedagogical proposal and we have not identified limitations.
The Physical Education discipline is a mandatory curricular component in Brazilian Basic Education, however, for it to happen in full, it is necessary to have, in schools, adequate learning materials and physical spaces. The aim of the study was to analyze the influence of infrastructures and learning materials for Physical Education classes in state schools in the city of Manacapuru-AM. The research was carried out in fifteen state schools in the urban area of this city in Amazonas state and is characterized as descriptive, with an exploratory character. Observations and notes were made in field diary and it was found that six schools had indoor court, six others only had patio without coverage, and three of the schools had no space beyond the classroom. Regarding learning materials, in most schools they were found in insufficient quantities for the demand of students. Finally, we concluded, from the observations, that the lack of infrastructure and didactic materials directly influenced the quality and performance of Physical Education classes.
RESUMO Este estudo explora os Estudos Culturais Físicos como um campo de interlocução para o desenvolvimento de uma investigação colaborativa e teoricamente informada, que possa contribuir para o ensino e a pesquisa na educação física brasileira. A partir da abordagem autoetnográfica, revisitamos as maneiras pelas quais experiências distintas com os Estudos Culturais Físicos tocaram (e tocam) nossas identidades, imprimindo marcas que nos (re)constroem em ações de docência, pesquisa e intervenção social. As narrativas que decorrem desse esforço colaborativo carregam desafios que (re)significam experiências ou aspectos anteriormente inexplorados em nossas subjetividades, oferecendo-nos a possibilidade de repensar e reestruturar nossas práticas de embodiment. Por fim, ao compartilharmos nossas narrativas na interlocução com os Estudos Culturais Físicos, entendemos esse campo (epistemológico, ontológico e metodológico) como profícuo para o diálogo com a educação física no contexto brasileiro.
RESUMO: O objetivo da pesquisa foi analisar, por meio de estratégias textuais, como se deu o uso político-ideológico do futebol na propaganda do governo federal "Isso é ser brasileiro. Essa é a Copa das Copas", veiculada na mídia televisiva, em 2014. Para isso, utilizamos os pressupostos do Physical Cultural Studies. A análise evidenciou que o esporte foi utilizado pelo governo federal com fins político-ideológicos. Assim, identificamos o reforço ao sentimento de patriotismo, a presença de intencionalidades visando promover aceitação da realização da Copa do Mundo no Brasil e, relações intertextuais que visavam transmitir uma ideia positiva do governo petista, partido então no poder do Estado e que concorreria à reeleição em 2014. IntroduçãoNo Brasil, a relação Estado-futebol já é antiga. De acordo com a literatura, o uso político e ideológico dessa modalidade esportiva, por parte do Estado, ocorre desde o início do século XX, quando sua prática foi estimulada pelo governo para substituir a capoeira, compreendida na época como crime ou prática social desviante. Essa lógica foi consolidada no Estado Novo (1937-1945), com um projeto políticoideológico que utilizava o esporte, em especial o futebol, para alcançar objetivos, tais como: desenvolvimento do nacionalismo, representação nacional, desenvolvimento físico dos brasileiros e símbolo de modernidade (STAREPRAVO, 2011). Silk (2011, p. 736, tradução nossa) explica que esse entendimento do esporte "[...] constitui parte do que Stuart Hall denominou 'narrativas de nação', discursos, práticas e experiências esportivas têm sido frequentemente mobilizados e apropriados por grupos dominantes para (re) definir os parâmetros da identidade 'sancionada'". A primeira legislação esportiva no Brasil (BRASIL, 1941) estabeleceu as bases do controle do Estado sobre o campo esportivo, que viria a se fortalecer nas décadas seguintes. Por isso, até os dias atuais, observamos o uso político-ideológico do futebol pelo Estado, visando alcançar objetivos estatais, como a consolidação da identidade nacional ou o reforço ideológico às diferentes plataformas políticas de governo.
