The school literacy movement is the first step of scientific development, aimed at enhancing science education. It has an important role in encouraging every citizen to have basic knowledge of the nature of science through active participation. This study aims to analyze the implementation of the School Literacy Movement program designated by the Ministry of Education and Culture due to the poor reading interest Indonesia students from several international surveys. The study was conducted at Al Mujahidin Muhammadiyah Middle School in Yogyakarta, using the qualitative method of data collection. The results show that the school literacy program is not only specific for reading and writing but for also other academics as activities such as numerals, science, digitalization, finance, culture, and citizenship. In conclusion, the implementation of a structured and systematic program positive impacts on the growth of literacy achievement for all school members from students, teachers, down to employees in Indonesia.
<div class="Section1"><p>Kajian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pancasila dalam dimensi pendidikan Islam. falsafah Pancasila belum dijadikan primadona utama dalam setiap diskusi pendidikan. Pendekatan dalam peneltian ini adalah penelitian kepustakaan. Lembaga-lembaga pendidikan belum begitu banyak memaknai Pancasila bagian hal terpenting dan menjiwainya secara sadar. Apa yang digagas kemudian adalah bagaimana falsafah Pancasila selayaknya dijadikan paradigma kritis dalam kondisi pendidikan saat ini. Hal yang demikian bisa jadi akan melahirkan sebuah pandangan yang genuine yang menawarkan sebuah gerakan dan kesadaran untuk menyelesaikan berbagai problem pendidikan. Perbedaan kondisi di bagian negara lain memberikan kita kesempatan menampilkan sebuah gagasan paradigma kritis pancasila. Dalam kehidupan masyarakat yang lebih luas Pancasila yang menggema hanya sebatas nama kurang terlihat bentuknya seperti apa jika menjadi penawar obat kesembuhan pendidikan saat ini. Hasil dari studi ini menunjukkan bahwa posisi pancasila seharusnya memang mendapat ruang yang berarti, di satu sisi karena prinsip-prinsip Pancasila terilhami dari Islam, disisi lain Islam memberikan legitimasi yang kuat bagi terlaksananya prinsip Pancasila yang sejalan dengan landasan Islam.</p><p>Kata kunci: paradigma, kritis, Pancasila, pendidikan, Islam</p></div><p><em>CRITICAL PARADIGM OF PANCASILA IN THE DIMEN- SIONS OF ISLAMIC EDUCATION. This study aims to examine the Pancasila in the Islamic educational dimension.The philosophy of Pancasila has not made a prima donna in any discussion of education. This study uses library research. Institutions have not so many interpret Pancasila as the most important thing and make it as the spirit consciously. What was conceived then is how the philosophy of Pancasila should be made as a critical paradigm in the condition of education today. Such things could be going to deliver a view that offers a genuine movement and awareness to resolve various problems in education. The difference of conditions in others countries gives us a chance to display a critical paradigm of Pancasila. In the life of the wider community, Pancasila that echoes only as the name. Its shape is less visible if it be the antidote to cure a disease of the current education. This research aims to describe the problems of education in terms of the budget, accreditation, and teachers as well as the challenges of developing them, and solutions to the problems of education in Indonesia. This research is a literature review. Data collected through the Central Statistics Agency and Education data from the Indonesian Ministry of Education. The data is then explained and analyzed critically to provide conclusions in the context of designing and solving education problems in Indonesia to welcome the golden era. Education should soon adapt to era development if it is not willing to be left. A country's responsibilities in overseeing the education to achieve a golden education era are required. The planning, process and results of education will reflect the quality of the nation. The results showed that the problem of absorption of school budgets, equitable distribution of school accreditations, and teacher problems were important things that needed to be resolved immediately. This study provides a contribution to the new strategic plan on how to achieve the golden era of education, there not much research focuses discuss the budget, accreditation, vocational education, and character education as the basis for the determination of educational policy. The conclusion is the government should focus more on equity of Education budget absorption, enhancement of teachers from the aspect of skill and well-being, to make vocational education as an arrow civilization, and making character education as a human resource control to keep moral and intellectual integrity.
This study aimed to determine various characters implemented at modern Islamic Muhammadiyah Boarding School (MBS). This school is in Pleret, Bantul, Special Region of Yogyakarta, Indonesia. This research was a case study. The researcher carefully investigated a program, event, activity, process, or individual whose case is time-limited, and activity is determined by using a qualitative approach. The data were analyzed using descriptive analysis. The researcher has analyzed the research based on data obtained from interviews, observation, and documentation. The characters implemented at MBS are religious character, independence, social character, team building, and <em>ta’zim </em>(RISTA). Implementing these character values benefits students' mental health, resulting in strong Islamic personalities and good mental health MBS graduates.
