Contemporary society demands that every organization operate with a sense of social responsibility. Many organizations now include corporate social responsibility (CSR) activities in their work programs. In the health sector, however, the role of CSR has not been studied as intensively as in private corporations because the services provided by the health sector are already valued as directly serving humanity. This research aims to evaluate the impact of CSR on the health sector, specifically on government hospitals. This model was developed by analyzing the influence of CSR on hospital reputation, customer loyalty, and hospital values. By answering questionnaires, a total of 200 hospital patients from four government hospitals participated in the study. The proposed model was evaluated using path analysis with AMOS tools. The results of this study provide empirical evidence that overall, CSR positively affects the reputation of the hospital, patient loyalty, and hospital value. Although there is a direct negative effect of CSR on hospital value, the larger influence of indirect effect that occurs through the mediating role of reputation and patient loyalty variables shows that CSR is able to increase the hospital value. Practically, these results imply that CSR should be applied as a strategic tool in improving the value of the hospital.

This study, however, does not find substantial evidence to support the direct relationship between green tourism marketing and creative industry with tourism satisfaction. Research limitation: Since this study focusses on the Lake Toba tourism industry only, the generalisability of the findings may be biased. Therefore, future studies should incorporate a larger and more diverse set of samples.
Behavioral finance is very important in one's decision-making when investing. Many factors affect the financial investors in the process of financial investment decision. This study aims to: (1) for test whether there is any difference in the financial investment decision process when viewed from demographic variables such as occupation, gender, and age of financial knowledge, (2) for test the influence of internal factors consisting of perception, motivation, learning, financial knowledge and external factors consisting of product, price, place/location, promotion, physical evidence, process, people and customer service to the investor's decision. The type of this research is descriptive quantitative. The sample in this study consist of 100 financial investors in the city of Medan. Discriminant and multiple regression analysis with stepwise method is used to test the hypothesis. The results showed: (1) there are significantly differences in the process of financial investment decisions based on demographic variables such as occupation, gender, and financial knowledge. While there was no difference in the financial investment decision process based on age categories, (2) process, motivation and customer service variable, have a positive and significant impact on investors' decision.
BACKGROUND: Alterations in peripheral thyroid hormone metabolism play an eminent role in the development of the euthyroid sick syndrome. Altered solvation may also lead to changes in peripheral thyroid hormones. Data on thyroid hormones in critically ill children remain unclear. AIM: This study was aimed to evaluate thyroid hormone profile in children with sepsis as well as to assess the association between thyroid level and sepsis outcome. METHODS: An observational cohort study was conducted in 80 children with sepsis from October 2015 to January 2016 in Haji Adam Malik General Hospital. T3 and T4 level were measured on day 1 and after > 72 hours of sepsis diagnosed. RESULTS: We recorded length of stay in PICU, patient outcome and analysed the relationship with the chi-square test. Level of T3 and T4 were decreased on day 1 in pediatric sepsis. Of 80 subjects, 57 (71.2%) with low-level T3 and 41 (51.2%) with low T4 were found. The relationship between T3 and T4 level on day 1 with the length of stay were not found (P = 0.500; P = 0.987). There were a significant relationship between level of T3 and T4 with outcome (P = 0.0001; OR 24.706; P = 0.014; OR 3.086). Subject with normal T3 and T4 level had 24 and 3 times life chances compare to lower level. CONCLUSION: The Euthyroid Sick Syndrome in children with sepsis does exist. There was a significant relationship between T3 and T4 level on day 1 with patient outcome.
