Pessimism is the attitude or perspective of an individual who is depicted by uncertainty, despair, and there is no hope for something faced. Conversely, optimism is the attitude of someone who sees things positively. This study aims to find out how students who have optimistic and pessimistic attitudes, and find out the differences in students' mathematics achievement between optimistic and pessimistic students, and if there are better ones. This research was conducted in 4 (four) State High Schools in Semarang City, and 498 XII graders has been chosen randomly. The result is that 55% of students are pessimistic, and 45% are optimistic. The research hypothesis that there are differences in mathematics learning achievement between optimistic and pessimistic students has been proven in the results of this study. Significant differences were also confirmed through the results of statistical calculations, and can be indicated by the average score of the optimistic students is higher than pessimistic students. Further discussion is needed on the implications of the results of this study on mathematics education broadly.
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah ingin mengetahui mengetahui manajemen pendidik dan tenaga kependidikan di Tk Negeri Cempaka Jaya Pekalongan dalam melaksanakan standar Nasional Pendidikan dengan harapan dapat memberikan kontribusi terhadap kualitas pendidikan secara keseluruhan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah jenis penelitian kualitatif, tempat penelitian di TK Negeri Cempaka Jaya Pekalongan selama 4 bulan yaitu bulan maret sampai dengan bulan Juni 2017. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan memakai teknik triangulasi data. Alat pemgumpulan data yang digunakan adalah dengan metode dokumentasi, wawancara, observasi, dan metode analisis data. Hasil penelitian ini adalah : (1) manajemen pendidik dan tenaga kependidikan di TK Negeri Cempaka Jaya dalam maksanakan standar Nasional Pendidikan, sehingga dapat memberikan kontribusi terhadap peningkatan terhadap kualitas pendidikan secara keseluruhan, (2) berdasarkan hasil wawancara dan observasi manajemen pendidik dan tenaga kependidikan dalam maksanakan standar Nasional Pendidikan di TK Negeri Cempaka Jaya Pekalongan sangatlah penting bagi kemajuan lembaga-lembaga PAUD.
The education purpose is to create the best generation, to educate good character, and also to build a vision. To AbstrakPendidikan bertujuan melahirkan generasi unggul, berkarakter positif, dan sekaligus visioner. Untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut, pembelajaran yang dilakukan harus mampu masuk ke hati dan pikiran para peserta didik dengan nyaman, rileks, dan sekaligus mudah dipahami. Pendidikan berbasis nilai atau value based education menjadi salah satu metode agar pembelajaran bisa berjalan dengan optimal, simultan, dan sekaligus berdaya gugah dan berdaya guna. Pendidikan berbasis nilai mengajak para pendidik untuk memahami substansi materi, mata pelajaran, dan mata kuliah, lalu mengolahnya, dan kemudian menyampaikannya kepada para peserta didik. Nilai-nilai yang terkandung tersebut disampaikan secara informatik, nyaman, dan dengan diiringi arahan dan bimbingan. Melalui pendekatan ini, para peserta didik atau anak didik ini, dari jenjang PAUD sampai mahasiswa, akan bisa memetik sari atau inti dari materi, mata pelajaran, dan mata kuliah tersenbut. Muaranya, mereka memiliki bekal untuk menyapa masa depan mereka. Inilah inti dari pendidikan berbasis nilai.Kata kunci: pendidikan berbasis nilai, pendidik/guru, peserta didik, pembelajaran.
The purpose of this research was to analyze the relationship between indoctrination and children's creativity. It was conducted qualitatively using the phenomenological approach for a period of 6 months. The samples used include 26 teachers, 118 children, and 80 parents while data were collected through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation and analyzed using data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing or verification. The results showed that children's creativity had a relationship with indoctrination and practice displayed.
An effort to cultivate process spirit to student has to be done patiently. That process will make them remember that success is an accumulation of ability to solve the problem. Big success is an accumulation of little successes. Long-term objective achieved with midterm and short-term effort. Every success full people have reached his point with process full of strategy, struggle, patience and perseverance. Participative education enriched with process will teach student to think critical and open mind.
