Salah satu upaya dalam meningkatkan produktivitas padi yaitu penerapan teknologi budidaya dengan pengaturan populasi tanaman melalui pengaturan jarak tanam dan sistem tanam jajar legowo. Tujuan dari peneltian adalah untuk mengetahui produktivitas varietas Inpari 32 menggunakan sistem jajar legowo 2:1 dengan perlakuan jarak tanam yang berbeda. Pengkajian dilaksanakan pada lahan sawah KP Samboja, Desa Bukit Raya, Kecamatan Samboja Kabupaten Kutai Kartangera Kalimantan Timur pada bulan Juli-Oktober 2019. Pengkajian terdiri atas 2 perlakuan jarak tanam sistem tanam jajar legowo 2:1, yaitu 20 x 10 x 40 cm dan 20 x 10 x 50 cm, masing-masing perlakuan diulang 3 kali. Analisis data untuk membandingkan antara 2 perlakuan jarak tanam jajar legowo 2:1 menggunakan uji t berpasangan. Hasil pengkajian menunjukkan perlakuan jarak tanam (25 x 12,5 x 50 cm) pada karekter tinggi tanaman, jumlah anakan produktif, panjang malai, jumlah gabah berisi per malai serta hasil memiliki nilai rerata yang lebih tinggi dan nyata dibandingkan denga perlakuan jarak tanam (20 x 10 x 40 cm).
Apart from being a source of energy, rice has health benefits. Rice contains minerals that function for the growth and development of several vital organs. The purpose of this study was to determine the performance of the new high-yielding variety Inpari IR Nutri Zinc. This research was conducted in the rice fields of the Cempaka farmer group and the Lestari farmer group, Bukit Raya village, Samboja District, Kutai Karatanegara, East Kalimantan. The study was conducted from December 2020 to March 2021. This study was conducted using a randomized block design (RAK) with 5 (five) replications. The treatments used were Inpari IR Nutri Zinc, Inpari 32 HDB, and Bion iAgritan Ciherang. Data analysis with analysis of variance test, if significantly different, continued with 5% BNT further test. The results showed that Inpari IR Nutri Zinc produced higher rice productivity, namely 6.91 tons/ha GKP when compared to Inpari 32 HDB and Bion 63 Ciherang Agritan varieties. This shows that the new high-yielding variety of Inpari IR Nutri Zinc is adaptive when it is developed in Kutai Kartanegara Regency, East Kalimantan Province.
Upaya yang dapat dilakukan dalam peningkatan produksi jagung dapat dilakukan dengan penggunaan varietas unggul, defoliasi dan pemupukan yang berimbang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemupukan lewat daun (foliar) dan pemangkasan daun tanaman jagung (defoliasi) terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil jagung hibrida NASA 29. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Kebun Percobaan Samboja, Desa Bukit Raya, Kec. Samboja, Kutai Kartanegara, Kalimantan Timur, pada bulan April-Juli 2020. Bahan tanam yang digunakan adalah jagung hibrida NASA 29, pupuk KNO3, Gandasil D dan MKP. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) faktorial dengan 3 (tiga) ulangan. Faktor pertama jenis pupuk yang diaplikasikan lewat daun (foliar) yang terdiri dari 3 taraf yaitu P1 (pupuk gandasil), P2 (pupuk MKP) dan P3 (pupuk Rosasol). Faktor kedua adalah waktu defoliasi yang terdiri dari 3 taraf yaitu D1 (75 HST), D2 (82 HST) dan D3 (90 HST). Data hasil pengamatan dianalisa dengan analisis ragam dengan uji F pada α = 5%. Bila terdapat beda nyata, dilanjutkan dengan uji BNJ pada α = 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan perlakuan jenis pupuk lewat daun dan defoliasi beserta interaksi tidak memberikan pengaruh nyata terhadap variabel tinggi tanaman, panjang dan lebar daun, diameter batang, tinggi letak tongkol, panjang tongkol dan diameter tongkol. Perlakuan pupuk P3 dan defoliasi D2 memberikan hasil terbaik pada berat tongkol dan berat biji kering pipil.
This study aims to determine the effect of foliar fertilization and corn leaf trimming (defoliation) on the growth and yield of hybrid corn NASA 29. This research was conducted at the Samboja Experimental Garden, Bukit Raya Village, Kec. Samboja, Kutai Kartanegara, East Kalimantan, in April-July 2020. The planting material used was the NASA 29 hybrid corn variety, KNO3 fertilizer, Gandasil D fertilizer, MKP fertilizer. This study used a factorial randomized block design (3 X 3) with 3 (three) replications. The first factor was the type of fertilizer that was applied through the leaves (foliar) which consisted of 3 levels, namely P1 (fertilizer gandasil), P2 (fertilizer MKP), and P3 (fertilizer Rosasol) with a dose of 10 grams/liter each given at the age of 65 DAS. The second factor was defoliation time which consisted of 3 levels, namely D1 (75 days after planting), D2 (defoliation at 82 days after planting), and D3 (defoliation at 90 days after planting). The observed data were analyzed by means of the analysis of variance with the F test at α 5%. if there is a significant difference, it is followed by the Honestly Significant Difference (HSD) test at α 5%. The results showed that the treatment of the type of fertilizer through the leaves and defoliation along with the interactions had no significant effect on the variables of plant height, ear length, and ear diameter, while the treatment of fertilizers by leaf and defoliation and their interactions had no significant effect on the variables of plant height, stem diameter. ear length and ear diameter. P3 fertilizer treatment and defoliation at the age of 82 days after planting (D2) gave the best results on the variable ear weight and dry seed weight.
