Pakistan and China as all weather strategic partners have a history of glorious friendly relations. Both countries always try to make strong these relations through different geo-political, strategic and economic projects/agreements. The Pak-China Economic Corridor (CPEC) is also a key to make strong economic relations of both countries. It is considered to be an extension of China’s proposed 21st century Silk Road initiative and considered a centre for their relations. It is a huge project under construction that will undertake the construction of highway and railway links running through the areas from Gwadar in Baluchistan and culminating in Kashgar in western China, while passing through the regions of Baluchistan, Sindh, Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) and Gilgit-Baltistan (Khunjrab Pass) and run through most vital geostrategic locations. It will connect Pakistan with China and the Central Asian countries by the highway connecting Kashgar to Khunjrab and Gwadar. The CPEC is of high significance, as it making this region more economically viable, stable and sustainable. It is also one of many mega projects planned by China in Central, South and South East Asia for expanding its political and economic influence to counter the US influence in the region. China has made an attempt to fulfill multiple interests of its own by the financial investments in region on CPEC. It shall act as a trade bridge between China, Middle East and Europe through Pakistan and proved a source of economic benefits. The paper through the empirical and inductive research approach tries to identify the China-Pakistan relations and the regional development by the construction of CPEC. In this paper makes consideration of the main traits of the CPEC on both regions. It also emphasizes on the impacts on the economic situation of Pakistan at regional and global levels as well.
Globalization is the process, which highly effecting the people living in different parts of the world, by the huge transformation of socio-cultural tones. It is the process of increasing interconnectedness between the people and societies as the incidents in any part of the world have more effects on people and societies of the world. Through globalization the world has changed into a global village. The globalization is also influencing the women of every society. In Pakistan the women are living in a traditional conservative structure of the society. Yet, they are adopting the changing patterns of modernization under globalization. The women of Pakistan are trying to enhance their capabilities and transforming the traditionalism with the modernism. They are advancing in every field of life like men. The research study focuses on the social, educational, economical and political as well as humanitarian status of the women in Pakistan. It also emphasizes on different aspects of modernism and intellectual diversity in women’s life and their struggle to compete the modern challenges of globalization. The proposed empirical research based on theoretical approaches elaborates the transformation and modernism among the women and its impacts on socio-cultural and economic development of Pakistan.
In this paper a discovery of the philosophy of educational systems from an Ancient Indian perspective. A limited number of articles have been written from a standpoint of philosophical, historical, and the Ancient perspective when resultantly, this article not only aims to fill in the gaps in literature, but also aspires to provide an insight on educational philosophy from the Ancient Indian perspective. In the Indian context, the origin of education can be traced from the Vedic literatures such as the Valmiki Ramayana, the Mahabharata (includes the Bhagavad-Gita) and the Puranas. The foundation of this paper revolves around hermeneutics, which are a qualitative research methodology involving the studying, understanding and interpretation of ancient text. With the help of the aforementioned methodology, authors disclose some ancient lessons on today’s educational system. The aim of this paper is to knowing the Educational System of Ancient India. In the ancient times, two education systems i.e. Vedic and Buddhist were developed by them and their sole purposeswere self-control, propagation of purity, development of character, personality development, social awareness and preservation of the culture for youth.
The name of Pakistani historians I.H. Qureshi, K.K.Aziz and Ayesha Jallal are highly praised for their work on the history of Pakistan. They adopted different research patterns for their research and introduced the new directions for historiography. The research methodology of each is different to other. The work of I. H. Qurushi consider the authentic source of Pakistani historiography but K.K. Aziz criticized the work of former author and believes that Pakistani classic research work and text books are full of wrong information and do not provide the reasonable and rational guidance to the new generation. But Ayesh Jallal the new famous and appreciated Pakistani historian took the next step in the field of historiography and introduced the method of focusing on the factors which forced the circumstances to shift interests and make history different. They contributed well to improve the Pakistani writing style and make Pakistani historiography up to date so that it will compete the worldwide history works.
