Industrial revolution 4.0 is currently a prevalent term. The revolution is initiated by the advancement of technology in many aspects of life. Education is a medium to facilitate the advancement of skills and build strong mental. Suwardana believes that education is the easiest way to shape humans' appropriate behaviour and prepare humans in dealing with industrial revolution 4.0. Furthermore, it is also necessary to improve personal competence and literacy to be actively involved in the revolution. A keyword to understand and cope with the industrial revolution, literacy is important to be integrated into class activities as early as possible in one's education. New literacy concepts should be considered an integral part of humans' development, so they will be more aware of the challenges. This paper explores the new literacy concepts to be emphasized in elementary education name technological literacy and data literacy. In this regards however, this paper also shows that ethnic culture, as a national asset, should be preserved as it can function as a counterweight to the rapid development of the modern era. The existence of the new era should not make people forget about their ethnic culture and national identity.
Online learning is a new challenge for teachers and students, there must be many positive and negative impacts that occur, especially on the ability to read and write. This study aims to describe the impact of the implementation of online learning on the literacy skills of elementary school students based on previous studies and direct surveys of elementary school students to find out what impacts occur on students' literacy skills when learning is carried out online, both it's a positive or negative impact. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive design, while the research results are taken in the form of a one-group pre-test and post-test design. The results of this study showed an increase after being given material in the form of learning videos, but the role of the teacher during this online learning period was very important to continue to provide guidance and direct students so that their reading and writing skills remained good.
Learning in elementary schools tends to focus on teachers so it is less empowering for students. Of course, this makes the low level of literacy process in student learning the purpose of this study is to find out the effectiveness of the use of video media as digital literacy on poster learning in elementary school. This study uses quantitative research methods using the pre-experimental method of design type one group pre-test and post-test. The subjects in the study were 10 grade III elementary school students consisting of 5 male students and 5 female students. The results of the study showed that the knowledge of students and students about poster material before and after the implementation of video media as digital literacy is remembered. Because learning videos are very helpful to students in understanding poster material. It can be concluded that the delivery of material through this video can indirectly improve digital literacy for students.
The article aims to discuss about the correlation between conturing technique and gradation technique in a media called the face of a model. Since it is believed that conturing technique as a part of make up, and gradation technique as a part of arts. Fortunatelly, the researcher is an artist and professional make-up artist. Thus the researcher can reveal from both perspectives to gain the thick and deep discussion. Then, this article is made qualitatively to explore about various shapes of faces and the technique to make the face look taper. The data is revealed only in a face of participant a square shape. It shows the progress to do the make up. The implication of the research shows that make up connect to arts in the parts of contouring and gradating.
