The pandemic caused by the Corona Virus Disease (COVID-19) has had psychological and health impacts on people's lives around the world. On a psychological aspect, this pandemic has caused anxiety due to low mindfulness. To increase the potential of mindfulness, one of the ways taken is by counselor psychological intervention. The authors used an Islamic counseling approach to reduce anxiety and increase mindfulness. Therefore, the research was conducted using a quasi-experimental design with non-equivalent control group design. Participants in this study were 14 students consisting of 7 students for each experimental and control group. Participants were invited after filling self-report the anxiety scale facing COVID-19 and indicated that they were in the high category. The data analyzed with the Wilcoxon sign rank test to determine the impact of before and after the intervention was given, then used the Mann Whitney to find out the mean differences between the experimental and control group, and the Rank Spearman to determine the correlation between mindfulness and anxiety. The results showed that Islamic counseling intervention is effective to increase mindfulness which impacted on reducing anxiety in facing the COVID-19 pandemic. Besides, the results of correlation analysis using the Rank Spearman show that there is a correlation between mindfulness and anxiety.
<p><em>Emosi merupakan kondisi psikologis yang bersumber dari dua faktor dalam hidup manusia, yaitu adanya faktor internal dan eksternal. Faktor internal merupakan aspek bawaan dan genetik, yang mana tidak bisa dipisahkan dari bagaimana individu berperilaku dan merespon, akan tetapi bisa di bentuk dan dikendalikan. Serta faktor eksternal merupakan pengaruh lingkungan yang mempengaruhi persepsi subjektif dan komunikasi sosial individu. Kondisi ini merupakan dinamika manusia dalam hidupnya akan tetapi juga bisa menjadi bencana dalam hidup sosial, banyak masalah yang muncul dari manusia yang tidak bisa mengatur emosi mereka dalam berperilaku emosi ini dikenal dengan emosi negatif dalam islam disebut dengan nafsu lawammah dan amarrah. Banyak teknik konseling yang telah dilakukan untuk membantu klien dalam membantu klien mengatur meosi negatifnya tapi teknik tersebut hanya menyentuh permukaan dari kesadaran individu itu saja tetapi tidak menyentuh transendennya diri klien seperti akhlak dan pemikiran yang mendalam akan diri klien. Seperti yang disampaikan oleh Assagioli dengan psikologi transpersonalnya bahwa pikiran dan keinginan diri merupakan diri yang transenden. Begitu juga Al Ghazali mengatakan dalam Tazkiyatun An-Nafs akhlak merupakan pikiran dan hati yang mendalam untuk membantu membentuk emosi positif dan melepaskan yang negatif. Dalam artikel ini akan didiskusikan secara lebih mendalam mengenai emosi, dan aspeknya serta bagaimana tazkiyatun an-nafs bisa disintesiskan sebagai pendekatan konseling untuk membantu melepaskan emosi negatif klien serta artikel ini merupakan pengembangan dari artikel sebelumnya di tahun 2017.<br /><br /></em></p><p><em>Emotion was a psychological condition that came from two factor in human life, internal and external factor. Internal factor was a gift and genetic aspect, that can not be seperated from how an individual to behave and react, but can be shape and control and external factor was an environment influence that affect a subjective perception and social communication of individual. This condition can be a human dynamica in their life but also can be a disaster in social life, there are many problem came from how individual can not control or manage their emotion to behave in their life, this emotion call a negative emotion, in islam call such nafsun lawammah and amarrah. Many technique has been done to help the client in manage of their negative emotion, but that technique only touch on a surface of client’s counscioussness but not a trancendence of their self such an akhlak and deepest mind. Like told by Assagioli in transpersonal psychology that mind and will was a trancendence of self and al ghazali with tazkiyatun an-nafs approach told that akhlak was an deepest mind and heart to shape a positive emotion and release a negative emotion. In this article will discuss for further about emotion and their aspect and also how tazkiyatun an-nafs approach can be a synthesis to help release a negative emotion of client, this article was expanded from article in 2017 before.</em></p>
Prosocial behavior is important for every individual from an early age. This behavior can teach each individual to be able, share, cooperate, be generous, help and practice honesty. The level of students' prosocial behavior can also affect their academic achievement, so there needs to be an intervention to improve students' prosocial behavior since elementary school. To improve prosocial behavior in elementary school students, researchers provide treatment through virtual media based on religious values. This study uses a quasi-experimental design with a non-equivalent control group design model. Respondents in this study amounted to 24 respondents consisting of 2 groups, namely the control group 14 respondents, and the experimental group 14 respondents. Measuring the level of students' prosocial behavior using a prosocial behavior scale instrument consisting of 15 items. Data analysis was carried out using the Wilcoxon signed-rank test to determine differences in the prosocial behavior of respondents before and after the intervention and the Mann Whitnney test to see differences in the level of prosocial behavior of respondents between the experimental group and the control group. The results showed that virtual media based on religious values had a positive impact on improving the prosocial behavior of elementary school students. The implications of the results of this study can be used as a basis for decision-making to help students' problems, especially prosocial behavior.
<p align="center"><strong><em>Abstract</em></strong></p>The emotional development of students in early teens showed a sensitive and recreative nature (critical), emotions are often negative and temperamental. This negative passion is evidenced by the findings in the field of Indonesian teenagers, such as Tawuran, promiscuity, students who dare to do nasty with school friends (Tirto, 2013). Many factors are the cause, one of which is still the weak character of academic responsibility that students have. This problem becomes a serious problem in the world of education Indonesia. Therefore, it is natural for educational practitioners to take solutive steps to overcome the problem. One education practitioner who has a strategic position to handle the case is Counselor. Counselors are deemed able to provide practical solutions through Reality Group Counseling services by integrating spiritual values (Islam) to foster student academic responsibilities. Reality group counseling emphasizes the growth of personal responsibility. This advice is also in line with Islamic values that encourage individuals always to be responsible for every action as reflected in the QS. Al Muddassir: 38).
