Creative thinking in mathematics is a combination of logical and divergent thinking based on intuition but with mindful attention to flexibility, fluency, and novelty. The study aims to analyze how mathematical creative thinking skills and self-confidence are viewed from the independence of students learning. This research is a type of qualitative research using a descriptive approach. The research subjects in this study were 3 class VIII to Kp Kewong Desa Sukamulya Kecamatan Sukaresmi Kabupaten Garut with circle material. The research instruments used in this research are in the form of written tests, questionnaires, and interviews. Based on the results of data analysis from research that has been done, it can be concluded that the level of student self-regulated learning affects the level of mathematical creative thinking and student self-confidence. Students with a high level of self-regulated learning have a high level of creative thinking ability and self-confidence, Students with a moderate level of self-regulated learning have a moderate level of creative thinking ability and self-confidence, likewise, students with low levels of self-regulated learning have low levels of creative thinking ability and self-confidence. Berpikir kreatif dalam matematika merupakan kombinasi berpikir logis dan berpikir divergen yang didasarkan intuisi tetapi dalam kesadaran memperhatikan fleksibilitas, kefasihan dan kebaruan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis dan self-confidence ditinjau dari kemandirian belajar siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah tiga orang siswa kelas VIII di Kp Kewong Desa Sukamulya Kecamatan Sukaresmi Kabupaten Garut dengan materi Lingkaran. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu berupa soal tes tertulis, angket, dan wawancara. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dari penelitian yang sudah dilakukan, siswa dengan kemampuan berpikir kreatif tinggi mampu menunjukkan indikator flexibility dan originality, siswa dengan kemampuan berpikir kreatif sedang mampu memperoleh indikator yaitu flexibility sedangkan siswa dengan kemampuan berpikir kreatif rendah tidak mampu menunjukkan indikator kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis. Sehingga diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa tingkat kemandirian belajar siswa mempengaruhi tingkat kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis dan tingkat kemandirian siswa mempengaruhi tingkat kepercayaan diri siswa.
