Status gizi dan kesehatan ibu dan anak merupakan faktor penentu kualitas manusia. Kekurangan gizi yang terjadi pada saat dalam kandungan dan awal kehidupan akan beresiko menderita penyakit tidak menular (PTM) dan penyakit infeksi. Prevalensi kurang energi kronis (KEK) pada wanita hamil dan tidak hamil di kabupaten/kota Bekasi tahun 2018 sebesar 7,85% dan 11,80% dan prevalensi gizi kurang dan gizi lebih pada anak umur 0-59 bulan (balita) di kabupaten/kota Bekasi sebesar 11,83% dan 4,25%. Selain itu, akumulasi sampah yang cukup tinggi di kota Bekasi jika tidak ditangani dengan baik akan menimbulkan bencana. Berawal dari permasalahan tersebut program ini dilakukan dengan masyarakat sasaran yaitu kader Posyandu Teratai 2 bekasi untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan kader posyandu untuk mengatasi permasalahan gizi dan memanfaatkan sampah plastik menjadi sebuah alat edukasi gizi yang interaktif. Metode yang digunakan adalah memberikan edukasi melalui tahapan persiapan, pelaksanaan program, dan monitoring evaluasi. Hasil dari kegiatan ini adalah adanya peningkatan pengetahuan mengenai gizi seimbang, gizi ibu hamil, gizi menyusui, gizi bayi dan balita. Selain itu, masyarakat sasaran dapat memahami mengenai pemanfaatan plastik menjadi alat edukasi gizi yang interaktif. The nutritional status and health of mothers and children are determinants of human quality. Malnutrition during pregnancy and early in life can increase the risk of non-communicable diseases (NCDs) and infectious diseases. The prevalence of chronic energy deficiency (CED) in pregnant and non-pregnant women in Bekasi district/city was 7.85% and 11.80%, and the prevalence of undernutrition and overnutrition in children aged 0-59 months (toddlers) in Bekasi district/city by 11.83% and 4.25%. In addition, the accumulation of waste, which is quite high in Bekasi if not handled properly, will lead to disaster. Starting from this problem, this program was carried out with the target community, namely Posyandu Teratai 2 Bekasi cadres, to increase the knowledge of Posyandu cadres to overcome nutritional problems and utilize plastic waste as an interactive nutrition education tool. The method used is to provide education through a few stages: preparation, program implementation, and evaluation monitoring. This activity results in increased knowledge about balanced nutrition, nutrition for pregnant women, nutrition for breastfeeding, and nutrition for infants and toddlers. In addition, the target community can understand the use of plastic as an interactive nutrition education tool.
Adolescence is a phase of significant growth. This phase is also a form of transition to adulthood so that it must be properly prepared for its nutrition and health for optimal growth. The forms of nutritional problems that occur in adolescents are stunting, malnutrition and overweight/obesity. One of the factors causing nutritional problems that occur in adolescents such as low knowledge about nutrition and physical activity. The purpose of the research is to increase the knowledge and awareness of adolescents about the importance of physical activity and the application of balanced nutrition. The research sample was 82 students of SMPIT Nurul Fajri in grades 7c and 7d. We motion contains interactive online educational activities, games, and the provision of interesting pocket books in the form of e-books that can be accessed at any time. The results showed that knowledge of physical activity in the good knowledge category continued to increase, namely at the pre-test 29%, mid-test 48% and post-test 78%. In the knowledge of balanced nutrition, it also continued to increase in the good knowledge category at 32% pre-test, 43% mid-test and 73% post-test. And in knowledge about obesity, it increased in both categories, namely 66% pre-test, 40% mid-test and 72% post-test. The conclusion is that the We motion (Move and Nutrition) program: Movement to Familiarize Sports and the Application of Balanced Nutrition During the Pandemic Covid-19 can increase the knowledge of SMPIT Nurul Fajri students about balanced nutrition and physical activity.
