The increase in coffee consumption in Japan is caused by several reasons, including changes in lifestyle in society due to westernization which introduced the habit of drinking coffee. Marketing that emphasizes instant coffee and roasted or ground coffee beans, a fast growing cafe or coffee shop. The product innovation process is increasingly developing so that Japanese people can enjoy coffee more easily. The research objective was to determine the factors that influence the volume of Indonesian coffee exports to Japan. The research method in this research uses quantitative methods. Type of data used is secondary data in the form of time series data from 1989 to 2018. The data sources were obtained from the directorate general of the United Nations and Commodities of Trade (UN Comtrade), World Bank. The analysis used multiple linear regression models through the ECM approach. The results showed that an increase in Japanese population, world tea prices and Indonesia Japan Economics Partnership (IJEPA) policies would increase the volume of Indonesian coffee exports to Japan. While Japanese coffee consumption, world coffee prices and inflation reduce the volume of Indonesian coffee exports to Japan. The increase in coffee production, Japanese GDP and the exchange rate did not increase or decrease the volume of coffee exports to Japan. The coffee market in Japan still has very high potential, as indicated by the increase in coffee consumption and Japan is one of the largest coffee consuming countries in the world. The increase in coffee consumption is due to changes in lifestyle in society due to westernization which introduces the habit of drinking coffee. The purpose of this study is to analyze and examine the competitiveness of Indonesian coffee exports to Japan. This research method uses quantitative methods. The type of secondary data is in the form of time series data for the period 1989 to 2018. The data source comes from the Directorate General of Plantations, United Nations Commodity of Trade. The analysis used was RCA (Revealed Comparative Advantage) and EPD (Export Product Dynamic) analysis. Vietnam as a comparison country in measuring RCA and EPD values. The results showed that Indonesian coffee beans had the ability to enter the Japanese market and were able to survive and export trade performance was fast and dynamic
ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan: 1) menentukan nilai keuntungan atau pendapatan pada usahatani padi dengan pemberian asap cair dan pembenah tanah. 2) menentukan biaya produksi pada usahatani padi dengan pemberian asap cair dan pembenah tanah. 3) menentukan nilai B/C ratio pada usahatani padi dengan pemberian asap cair dan pembenah tanah. Analisis data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini sebagai berikut: 1) Analisis Break Even Point (BEP) volume produksi. 2) Analisis BEP harga produksi, dan 3) Analisis BEP B/C ratio. Nilai pendapatan yang diperoleh usahatani tanaman padi sebesar Rp7.243.625,00. Nilai biaya produksi pada usahatani tanaman padi sebesar Rp15.198.375,00/ha. Analisa B/C ratio dalam usahatani tanaman padi diperoleh nilai B/C ratio sebesar 1,43. Maka dapat disimpukan usahatani tanaman padi di lokasi penelitian menguntungkan.
Caisim (Brassica juncea L.) merupakan sayuran yang hasil produk berupa daun segar. Kerusakan tanaman caisim dapat menurunkan nilai jual. Hama belalang (Oxya spp.), ulat pemakan daun, penyakit bercak daun pada (Brassica juncea L.) merupakan hama yang merusak daun tanaman caisim. Penelitian bertujuan mempelajari respon ketahanan pada caisim serangan hama dan penyakit setelah pemberian pupuk kandang dan pupuk hayati Provibio. Metode yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) dengan 2 faktor. Faktor pertama adalah pupuk kambing (P0 = 0 ton/ha (kontrol), P1 = 5 ton-1 per polibag, P2 = 15 ton-1 per polibag) dan faktor kedua adalah pupuk hayati (D0 = 0 mL/polibag (kontrol), D1 = 5 mL/polibag, dan D2 = 10 mL/polibag). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian pupuk kandang kambing tidak menunjukkan peningkatan ketahanan yang nyata terhadap intensitas serangan belalang, ulat pemakan daun dan penyakit bercak daun tanaman caisim. Aplikasi pupuk hayati Provibio belum mampu menurunkan hama belalang secara optimal dengan dosis 5 mL, serta belum mampu memberikan ketahanan terhadap ulat daun dan penyakit bercak daun tanaman caisim.
