In this work, a new analysis of the solar pumping as a source to provide secondary regulation and local reactive management strategies into low-voltage grid, is addressed. Based on real generation data and the capabilities of a commercial solar inverter, the control and management of the different work modes of the power electronics is proposed to analyse the viability of the use of solar pumping systems to be active agents in the flexibility market. Finally, some regulatory issues are presented to evaluate the feasibility of this proposal.
