The decays of 104,106In produced by (p, xn) reactions have been studied through γ, γ–γ, β, and β–γ spectroscopic methods. The measured β-decay half-lives are 1.8 ± 0.2 min for 104In (5+), 6.2 ± 0.1 min for 106gIn (6+, 7+), and 5.2 ± 0.1 min for 106mIn (3+). The decay schemes of 106m,gIn, 104In are presented.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
