Concrete is homogenous material which is used in construction. The rapid urbanization which results huge concrete waste in environment and using huge amount of natural resources which causes large amount of solid waste disposal issues. This research utlilizes the recycled aggregates and can be used as concrete material. As a part of this investigation first the properties of the different constituents of concrete have been studied and confirmed that they can be used in concrete preparation. The M30 grade concrete was done by using recycled coarse aggregate and with the replacement of 10%, 20%, 30% and 40% than that of natural aggregate. Tests were conducted on conventional concrete and different concrete mixes and comparison should be done. The optimum replacement should be calculated based on the above test results.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
