The composition of Sr 0.9 (Na 0.5 Bi 0.5 ) 0.1 -Bi 4 Ti 4 O 15 (SNBT) with excellent piezoelectric properties had been found recently. And basis on that, the effect of cerium modification SNBT-based ceramics was investigated in this paper. The Curie temperature and piezoelectric constant (d 33 ) for the 0.50 wt% cerium-modified SNBT-based ceramics were found to be 598°C and 27pC/N, respectively, which, together with the stable aging performance and thermal annealing properties, demonstrated that the cerium-modified SNBT-based materials are promising candidates for high-temperature applications.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
