The availability of new airport applications help passengers manage their time at the airport in an efficient way, inasmuch as these applications provide real-time information. The results of this study confirm the fact that the multifunctionality of the mobile marketing tool favours the effectiveness of the processes carried out by passengers at the airport. The main objectives of this research are focused on analyzing the basic concepts about mobile marketing and mobile applications, and assessing the impact of this tool in the levels of user satisfaction and improvement of the image/perception of the airport thanks to the app. This study will help to achieve a better understanding of the interaction between the airport and passengers through the use of smartphones.
The present work aims to explain more deeply the theory of the image of tourist destination and its process of formation, specifically regarding the factors that influence the above-mentioned process. For this purpose, the knowledge of two fields of study, the image of the tourist destination and the corporate image, is combined in order to analyse their possible interdependent relationship. To explore the possible relations between both elements, a theoretical model has been developed and confirmed using a survey carried out on a sample of 307 Korean citizens.The results reveal that the degree of familiarity of the Spanish companies in South Korea can be considered to be a more influential factor in the image of Spain as a tourist destination. This fact might have important economic implications, since tourism is turning into a key driver of socio-economic progress.
Actualmente los destinos turísticos se promocionan a través de múltiples medios, aunque debemos reconocer que en estos momentos el más importante es internet y en especial las aplicaciones móviles, que están siendo el soporte por el cual el tejido empresarial turístico están canalizando su oferta para mejorar la experiencia del turista. En este trabajo de investigación exponemos la gestión de relación entre empresa-turista como el esqueleto de sujeción de la economía del destino a largo plazo. La competitividad entre los destinos turísticos ha obligado a todos los agentes implicados a ser más creativos, proactivos y sobre todo a saber diferenciarnos de los demás. La metodología utilizada en este proyecto de investigación, ha sido principalmente de carácter cualitativo, recopilando información sobre nuestro problema de estudio. El interés de esta investigación, se centra principalmente en analizar que beneficio tiene la gestión de relación entre empresa-turista a través de las aplicaciones móviles, estudiar este nodo como elemento diferenciador turístico y qué efectos está teniendo en esta actividad marketiniana.
