For that, it is aimed to examine the national and international studies carried out on transformational leadership in the health sector. Ebscohost, Google Scholar, Sciencedirect, Scopus, TÜBİTAK ULAKBİM and YÖK National Thesis Center were scanned to achieve the objectives of the study and 66 studies, 57 in Turkish and 9 in English were examined. It was determined that the first studies on transformational leadership in the health sector were carried out in 2006. Also, most of the studies were carried out in the last 5 years. It is also seen that some concepts such as leadership, organizational commitment, and employee performance are frequently studied. It is considered that this research is really important in terms of revealing the overall trend of transformational leadership in the health sector and identifying research subjects that had not been studied.
