Cone defect in rolls may be caused by bad grinding. Cone defect leads to shape defect in unilateral waves of the finished strip. By using a six-high mill as example and by considering the features of the devices and technology, an influence model of roll with cone defect and a suitable shape control technology of a six-high mill was established to guarantee good shape. This model was then applied to a production practice of 1220 cold continuous rolling units. Quantitative analysis of different kinds of roll with cone defect and its effect on shape control shows that the additional shape caused by cone defect are unilateral waves. In conclusion, optimising the amount of tilt settings can effectively control the additional shape caused by cone defect, which provides enterprises with a useful reference for the high-precision control of shape.
This paper is aimed at Mechanical-Hydraulic Confined Piston Engine flat valve system working process modeling analysis, on the basis of the theory of classical pump valve, with integrated consideration of liquid's compressibility, influence of pump-valve's kinematics Westphals Phenomena on liquid consistency in cylinder and also consideration of distributing valve system's dynamic characters, the kinematics differential equations of MHCPE valve system are established. this model is the key that establishes the discipline of Mechanical-Hydraulic Confined Piston Engine flat valve system working process (displacement, velocity, acceleration and impact stress), lag backflow, work stability , flow pulsation and variation discipline of volumetric efficiency, etc. And the study about the modeling analysis, for its prototype development, provides theoretical support.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
