Par cet apport cartographie les auteurs ont bien montré cette évolution du peuplement à Quercus faginea subsp. tlemcenensis de la réserve de Moutas. La prospection utilisée (272 relevés) permis de donner une image fine et actualiser sur la capacité d’adaptation de ce peuplement. A travers les observations et les connaissances une mise en évidence des points chauds de l’évolution (résilience, germination et rejet de souche) de ce peuplement et cartés in situ. Ce travail repose sur une collaboration très forte entre chercheurs (cartographes, écologues, forestiers et informaticiens). Cette cartographie reflète l’ensemble des faits biogéographiques de la zone d’étude (répartition des groupements, facteurs écologiques…). Elle replace ce peuplement au cœur des réflexions et renforce l’importance de sa protection et sa conservation.
This study provides bibliographical note on the syntaxonomy of the vegetation of Tlemcen, Hafir, Moutas of North-western Algeria, including the associations and alliances of the different higher units found in the Hafir forest and the Moutas Reserve. In this work, we observed modifications of forest and pre-forest structures according to bioclimatic variations. However, in this region, the xericity of the climate is not the only factor destroying the plant cover, anthropization is also a degradation factor. While being aware of the negative consequences, man, through their abusive cultivation, illegal logging, overgrazing, urbanization, the depletion of natural resources;, inhibits the evolution of vegetation, participates in the replacement of a rich plant cover by another and more xerophytic plant cover with thorny and/or toxic feature. The landscape is dominated, for the most part, by open and degraded formations based on therophytes and chamaephytes, linked to Rosmarinetea and Cisto-Lavanduletea. The tree structures in Hafir and the Moutas reserve, still occupy only minimal areas subject to the destructive actions of man and his flock. These formations are still linked to the Quercetea ilicis. These ecosystems are marked by a regressive evolution (forest, pre-forest, scrub, scrubland and therophytization). Bangladesh J. The Zeen oak (Quercus faginea) is a forest species endemic to the western Mediterranean, very remarkable in Algeria; it is an oak with deciduous or semi-persistent leaves. Quercus faginea, is very polymorphic, especially in terms of leaf characteristics, so it would be represented in Algeria by two subspecies: Quercus faginea subsp. baetica (Webb) DC and Quercus faginea subsp. tlemcenensis (DC). The latter, which is of major taxonomic interest, is a species that still resists climatic fluctuations. This stand is a formation at the climatic stage, which covers a large part of the Moutas reserve (488 ha), appears from an altitude of 1100 m and is frequently found where humidity is high. For a decade, our attention has been drawn to its particular behaviour, linked to major processes of change in both climate and biological components. Through this study, we show the importance of this stand, which is in a regressive dynamic phase on which the incidence of disturbances is only the action of anthropogenic climatic factors. Despite its good adaptive strategy, Quercus faginea subsp. tlemcenensis is a species threatened by multiple anthropozoogenic impacts; the latter constitutes a direct threat to the preservation and renewal of biological resources as well as to the ecological balance of the area [1], but the dynamic value of Quercus faginea subsp. tlemcenensis remains appreciated with particular attention by scientists, foresters, conservators and local populations in the region.
