For a building to perform well during its useful life, it is essential that exist an adequate control during the design and execution phases of the structure, as well as periodic maintenance, over the years, after its construction. The Polytechnic School of Pernambuco (POLI) was founded 110 years ago and consists of several blocks of buildings that were built over the years, therefore, the institution is susceptible to exposure to building defects due to the useful life of the blocks, to the various materials in which they were built and the lack of periodic maintenance. The objective of this research was to carry out the identification of the building defects present on the façades of Block D of POLI and to elaborate their respective damage maps. As a methodology, a case study was carried out, where visual inspections were made through photographic records, then, the elaboration of damage maps through AutoCAD software. After inspection of the façades, the high presence of building defects was identified, especially on the front façade, among which the main ones were peeling paint and dirt. The damage maps made possible to gather the defects present in a relatively precise and easy to understand way, being a fundamental document to help the necessary maintenance of Block D plan, to guarantee its conservation.
Building inspection in constructions is important to verify that the building is in good safety condition for its occupants, identify problems that harm people's comfort or even determine preventive maintenance to avoid problems early, helping to extend the life of the building. One of the ways to document the condition of a building is through the damage map. The objective of this article is to present the survey of the existing pathological manifestations on the facades of Buildings I and K of the Polytechnic School of Pernambuco, representing them using damage maps to contribute to the maintenance and restoration services of the analyzed buildings. To this end, the architectural survey of the facades of Buildings I and K was carried out, the photographic survey was done using smartphone and drone and finally, the creation of the damage map. With the analysis of the results, it was noticed the presence of 14 pathological manifestations, where the most recurrent were grime and efflorescence. The front and right lateral facades presented the highest and lowest number of pathological manifestations, respectively. With the periodic survey of the pathological manifestations and their representations in damage maps it will be possible to create an evolution chart of the state of Buildings I and K and plan future preventive and/or corrective maintenance.
Mais recentemente, percebem-se o crescente interesse e as pesquisas de utilização de veículos aéreos não tripulados (VANTs) ou drones nos mais variados campos de atuação e segmentos industriais. Essas aeronaves são consideradas tecnologias emergentes de potencial significativo no mercado e dentre suas aplicações mais promissoras está o transporte de carga. Devido as vantagens presentes em relação a esse tipo de atividade, o uso de drones está sendo introduzido na área de logística de transportes para entrega de encomendas, transporte de medicamentos e gestão de frotas, abrindo a possibilidade de aumentar os padrões de entrega. Esta pesquisa objetiva realizar uma revisão sistemática sobre o uso de VANTs no transporte de cargas. A revisão seguiu as orientações do método PRISMA – Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic reviews and Meta-Analyses, onde a busca de bibliografia foi realizada no Portal de Periódicos CAPES, além de fontes adicionais de pesquisa. Seguindo os critérios de inclusão e exclusão, oito artigos foram incluídos nessa revisão, cuja análise permitiu verificar o elevado potencial do VANT, o impacto causado ao ser utilizado para transporte, assim como os benefícios e os obstáculos dessa tecnologia.
