The aim of this study is to examine the place of Motion Graphics Design in visual arts education and its relationship with visual literacy education. This research, in which qualitative research method was used, was studied based on literature review. The current literature was examined; It has been seen that the teaching methods in art education should be renewed day by day in parallel with cultural and technological developments. In this context, digital tools enable us to design everything we can think of, while bringing us together with the concept of digital media and digital visual literacy. Studies on moving visuals, especially in art education programs, stand out in education in digital fields. For this reason, Motion Graphics Design teaching offers importance. As a result of the research, it was stated that Motion Graphics Design education can be effective in raising art educators-graphic designers and directing the society with visual culture education; that it includes all disciplines that require visual literacy skills in visual arts education; In education and art education, it has been found that visual communication provides motivation and creative thinking and learning.
