The crystal structure of diphenyl disulfone has been determined by X-ray diffraction at room temperature. Observed (average) values for the bonds iavolving a sulfur atom are: S -S = 2.193(1), S -0 = 1.428(1), S-C = 1.753(1) A. In parentheses the standard deviations for the individual bonds are given.
