Durante los últimos años la actividad física y las clases de educación física en todos los grupos etarios se han visto afectadas por la pandemia por Sars-Cov-2. El objetivo de esta investigación consistió en develar las percepciones sobre el efecto que produce la actividad física durante el COVID-19 según el discurso de estudiantes de la carrera de pedagogía en Educación Física de la Universidad Autónoma de Chile sede Temuco. El método fue cualitativo con un diseño de estudio de casos, donde los participantes fueron 21 estudiantes de Pedagogía en Educación Física. El instrumento de recolección de información fue la entrevista semiestructurada y para su análisis se utilizó la teoría fundamentada. Se concluye que el COVID 19 incrementó en las personas un nivel muy alto de inactividad física, lo que se traduce en una disminución del gasto energético, un nivel alto de estrés, ansiedad, que fueron provocadas por el aislamiento que se produjo en algún momento. During the last years, physical activity and physical education classes in all age groups have been affected by the Sars-Cov-2 pandemic. The objective of this research was to reveal the perceptions about the effect that physical activity produces during COVID-19 according to the discourse of students of the Physical Education Pedagogy career of the Autonomous University of Chile, Temuco campus. The method was qualitative with a case study design, where the participants were 21 Physical Education Pedagogy students. The information collection instrument was the semi-structured interview and the grounded theory was used for its analysis. It is concluded that COVID 19 increased a very high level of physical inactivity in people, which translates into a decrease in energy expenditure, a high level of stress, anxiety, which were caused by the isolation that occurred at some point.
