<p style="text-align: justify;">El objetivo de este artículo es explorar un acercamiento sobre la vinculación como estrategia de la Institución de Educación Superior (IES), la vinculación como estrategia de la formación de competencias profesionales, las universidades tienen un rol importante  que jugar puesto que son ellas las que forman a los científicos, profesionales y líderes que decidirán de las estrategias económicas y públicas nacionales e internacionales. La vinculación con la comunidad como estrategia de desarrollo, un aspecto muy importante de las políticas de desarrollo a nivel nacional que durante los últimos años se han impulsado diversas acciones tendientes a reforzar estas actividades, La vinculación con la sociedad y los sectores productivos apoyado por los sectores estatales considerando la importancia de la ciencia, la tecnología y la innovación, los tutores e investigadores han de elaborar estrategias y propender tareas para establecer relaciones de vinculación con el sector productivo; se logre incorporar programas, con una estrategia general de intervención que le permita plasmar en muchas prácticas educativas hacia las necesidades de la realidad social y productiva, todo esto en el ámbito en que se desenvuelve la universidad con los sectores sociales, productores y estudiantes en formación profesional, que la universidad investigue la necesidad de vinculación que tiene con el entorno globalizado.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">This article synthesizes the meaning and importance of Guanxi which is describes as the basic dynamics of personalized networks of influence and constitutes a central concept in Chinese society. Based on their own definitions of relationships, the West usually interprets it as a set of relationships and connections. However, it is much more complicated and intricate. Guanxi is one of the most powerful forces in Chinese culture, encompassing the idea of a complex series of connections of individuals and families with which a person is connected. Guanxi is created and deepened over time and brings with it a great responsibility in terms of social exchanges and favors. Understanding the role of Guanxi in business is very important to develop fruitful relationships in China. The nature of Guanxi reciprocity and the implicit obligations are one of the main reasons why the Chinese are reluctant to embark on deep business relationships with people they do not know. Literally "Guanxi" means the connection between two or more people through a relationship of mutual dependence that includes the realization of reciprocal personal gifts and favors.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">This paper analyses the reasons why Ecuador changed its monetary policy by substituting the national currency Sucre by US Dollar; the benefits and costs of dollarization in Ecuador; examines economic performance by using data collected by the Central Bank and International database available, the period from 1996 to 2007 have been chosen for this study; and uses variables like GDP, Foreign Direct Investment, Debt, Taxes and Inflation.</p>
