Diseases of urachal remnants are uncommon and generally located on the junction of
the urachal remnant with the bladder dome. In most cases such diseases correspond to
mucinous adenocarcinomas and present hematuria as their most common clinical finding.
The authors report the case of a 62-year-old female patient undergoing follow-up due
to macroscopic hematuria for three years. Ultrasonography and computed tomography
findings are described.
Only 5-10% of osteosarcomas arise from the craniofacial bones. We report the case
of a 14-year-old female patient who presented with headache and a mass that had
been growing in the left frontoparietal region for six months. We describe the
findings on conventional radiography, computed tomography, and magnetic
resonance imaging.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
