Increasing boom in soft electronics field has boosted the development of highly stretchable and environment-adaptable energy storage devices based on hydrogel electrolytes. Development of such soft energy supply devices still...
Supramolecular eutectogels,a ne merging class of materials that have just developed very recently,o ffer an ew opportunity for generating functional supramolecular gel materials in biocompatible anhydrous or low-water media. As the first example of supramolecular G4 eutectogels, complexes of natural guanosine and H 3 BO 3 exhibited excellent gelation capacity in choline chloride/alcohol deep eutectic solvents.T he as-prepared supramolecular eutectogels displayed unexpected solvent-induced chiral inversion and significantly high ionic conductivity (up to 7.78 mS cm À1), as well as outstanding thixotropic/injectable properties,h igh thermal stability and excellent electrochromic activity.T hese features make these versatile supramolecular G4 eutectogels promising candidates for developing next-generation flexible electronics with low environmental impact.
The current tough and stretchable gels with various integrated functions are mainly based on polymer hydrogels. By introducing a non-covalent supramolecular self-assembled network into a covalently cross-linked polymer network in...
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
