Gateway elimination in a LoRa network could highly reduce the network installation cost. However, LoRa end devices could not overcome many obstacles with only a point-to-point communication. Thus, this research implemented a multi-hop communication in a LoRa network. One or more LoRa end devices are placed between the source node and the destination node to act as relay nodes. A simple routing based on the packet length is configured to determine the packet transmission path. As the results, the designed multi-hop communication could improve packet success rate until 2,47 times in indoor environment. Whereas, the optimum delay time for multi-hop communication is 100 ms for each hop to produce high PRR and lowest RTT.

The widespread theft of storage warehouses, especially in rural areas, rarely supported by communication technology. A system was created to improve the security of storage warehouses with LoRa transmissions capable of sending data remotely. When there is an open warehouse door, this system will send the data to the warehouse owner's house with LoRa transmission in the form of open door information to detect theft early. The LoRa transmission test results in the early morning hours resulted in a success rate of 99.61% at a distance of 1.40 Km and a success percentage of 99.06% at a distance of 2.15 Km. The entire system has been tested at a distance of 1.4 Km, and the early morning hours resulted in a percentage success of 95.15%. An error occurred due to packet loss. As evidenced by the further distance of the test, the percentage of success will be reduced. Besides that, cellular connections around the testing area also affect. Where in the afternoon, cellular network traffic is denser compared to the early morning hours. As evidenced by the results of testing in the afternoon, there was a decrease in the percentage success by 5%. Overall, the security system created and tested resulted in the conclusion that the security system in this study had shown promising results.

Siswa Sekolah Menengah Kejurusan (SMK) yang siap terjun ke dunia industri harus memiki hard skill. Salah satu contoh hard skill adalah mampu menggunakan teknologi terbaru, terutama teknologi berbasis jaringan yaitu mikrotik. Mikrotik merupakan salah satu teknologi jaringan yang dapat berfungsi sebagai router atau access point. Pembelajaran mikrotik dapat dilakukan oleh siswa SMK dengan mudah, karena feature pada mikrotik berbasis GUI, yang mudah dipelajari dan diterapkan. Tujuan dari pelatihan ini adalah membekali siswa SMK agar mampu menggunakan mikrotik secara mandiri pada jaringan skala kecil.  Pelatihan ini dilaksanakan empat kali, yang diikuti 14 peserta siswa dan 2 guru pendamping SMK Pawiyatan Surabaya. Pelatihan diselenggarakan di Laboratorium Digital Universitas Dinamika, yang terdiri dari 16 komputer sebagai host dan 16 mikrotik. Setiap peserta mengoperasikan satu mikrotik secara mandiri, dibimbing langsung oleh pemateri. Angket pelatihan disebarkan kepada seluruh peserta sebagai indikator dari keberhasilan pelatihan ini. Angket berisi seputar materi pelatihan, performansi pemateri, fasilitas pelatihan, dan suasana pelatihan. Berdasarkan angket yang telah diolah didapatkan rata-rata penilaian angket sangat setuju 56%, setuju 42%, dan tidak setuju 2%. Penilaian angket tersebut menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan PKM ini, mendapat respon baik dari peserta pelatihan.
