The above symptoms became intensified in the beginning of March, and were accompanied by fainting fits, constipation, and nausea. During the two weeks previous to her admission the loss of strength and flesh was very rapid. She then began to vomit her food, and has i retained very little nourishment ever since. The patient has been laid up in bed for one month, On admission it was found that she was very weak, and somewhat emaciated, with an anxious, drawn expression and sunken eyes.
