Leadership competencies are the skills of a leader that contribute to superior performance. By developing leadership competencies, organisation can better identify and develop their next generation of leaders. Leadership competencies can be developed by mastering multiple intelligences which are essential to all leaders. In this paper the multiple intelligences is focusses on social intelligence, emotional intelligence, cognitive intelligence, interpersonal intelligence and intrapersonal intelligence. The study is significant to an individual who is a leader of an organization or anyone for improving the leadership skills by mastering multiple intelligences It will also give feedback to the top management of the organisation the extent of their awareness of the impacts of leadership competencies towards the organisational performance.
Digital marketing techniques are becoming more common in our advancing technology currently. Some of popular digital marketing techniques such as search engine optimization (SEO), search engine marketing (SEM), content marketing, influencer marketing, content automation, campaign marketing, display advertising, e-books, and optical disks and games. The purpose of this study is to gain the performance of digital marketing regarding to the social media usage in the library environment such as Instagram, YouTube, Facebook and other platforms connectivity and communication related to user satisfaction in library environment. This paper enables librarians and stakeholder of the library to have a better understanding on the social media phenomenon in libraries.
Technological advances and emergence of digital information present a significantly different challenge than libraries had before. With abundance of digital formats of information available in libraries, a new standard of cataloging has been introduced. The standard for cataloging that emphasized on the content of metadata which can support the discovery, identification and employment of information resources in library or known as Resource Description and Access (RDA) is designed for the digital environment. It is expected to have full implementation in all libraries in Malaysia by 2017. This announcement has been made by the former director of National Library of Malaysia. To accomplish this mission, training is considered a basic requirement for every librarian before the introduction of RDA. However, it is found to be great challenges in conducting training and implementation of RDA in many libraries. With regards to this matter this study focuses on literatures on RDA pertaining to; training, costs, cataloging procedures and integrated library system. The framework may become foundation for libraries in supporting RDA in bibliographic control. The insight will inspire and inform a wide array of new research agenda in the cataloging and metadata literature.
