Our analysis suggests that adding ezetimibe to atorvastatin for patients not achieving treatment goals with their current atorvastatin dose produces greater clinical benefits than treatment with a fixed-dose atorvastatin or atorvastatin titration at an increased overall cost. The cost-effectiveness ratios provide strong evidence for the adoption of ezetimibe within the Canadian healthcare system.

Given the improvement in clinical efficacy and a favorable cost per QALY, the addition of pertuzumab in the neoadjuvant setting represents an attractive treatment option for HER2-positive eBC patients.

ConclusionsCompared with gemcitabine, first-line folfirinox significantly prolongs median os. Given the favourable cost per qaly, the improvement in clinical efficacy, and the limited available treatment options, folfirinox represents an attractive cost-effective treatment for mpc.
