Magnetorheological fluid (MR fluid) has been widely used in the industrial fields, especially in the machinery, automobile, national defense and construction industries. Most of the researches of the Magnetorheological Damper only utilized device to examine the effects of different levels of voltage, amplitude and frequency on energy reduction. They find a combination of the number of circles of wire, damping tubes, enameled wire sleeves for liquid of MR damper controlled to increase the damping force. This study uses different ways to solve the problem. We think outside the box and apply the concepts and technology of systematic innovation method to improve the structure of the MR damper for increasing the effectiveness. This study uses the contradiction matrix, 39 engineering parameters, and 40 inventive and innovative principles to identify the areas of improvement to address the exist problems. Regarding the decrease of the magnetic field acting force due to increase of the moving distance and the effect on the magnetorheological damper efficiency. Finally, we propose an improved design of the MR Damper.
Abstract. A glare shield is usually installed on the cement crash barrier to block strong light from the vehicles in contrary direction. It is useful to prevent car accidents and increase the safety of driving. This study uses the contradiction matrix in the TRIZ method, 39 engineering parameters, and 40 inventive and innovative principles to identify the areas of improvement to address the above problems. There are two features of our study. (1) We install a spring structure for the sake of reducing the damage rate of glare shields. When glare shields suffer from strong wind, a flexible structure located at base can let glare shields curve and spring back to original position, and therefore endures more powerful wind hit. In addition, the spring back function lets the guide post automatically return to original position to block strong light and protect drivers. This structure will have more durable service life, so, it can be used to reduce the maintenance times, and cost for the users.(2) We add solar LED light on the body of a glare shield, that can enhance the alert function when attacked by strong wind on the night time or insufficient light and then reduce the accident rate.

A walker is used for the patient of weak or lack of balance and mobility. Such as the older adults after orthopedics operation, Parkinson's disease and cerebral palsy patients. But, It is dangerous when walkers are pulled up and easily feel sore on both arms of the user. We apply TRIZ theory to solve about problems. Our invention integrates the demands of stability and speed of walking. We add four ball bearings to the new spring structure. While needs moving, the user may push walker lightly via ball bearings. On the contrary, when needs sustainability the user just uses the gravity of his body to let balls get into the four anti-slip mats.
