During a recent biodiversity survey in Djibouti, nineteen small mammal species were collected, including six bats and three rodents not previously recorded from the country. Records of a further three species, based on specimens from the zoological collections of the Museum National d'Histoire Naturelle, Paris, are published for the first time. A second record of Lophiomys imhausii is included, based on a photograph. The thirty-nine species of Insectivora, Macroscelidea, Chiroptera, Hyracoidea, and Rodentia now known from the country are listed.
