This research describes educational innovation through information and communication technologies and proposes a case study in a formative research course where the Covid-19 pandemic led to the need to rethink the entire teaching-learning process. The research was of the non-experimental type with a mixed approach (qualitative and quantitative) and a descriptive scope. The analyzed course was taught in person and at the beginning of the pandemic it became a virtual course where the class was developed through Zoom and with the support of an educational platform in Canvas. However, the course has been redesigned to be carried out in an asynchronous modality, where the teacher fulfills a function of accompaniment and virtual advice. Likewise, the course has included gamification strategies where the student can obtain badges depending on their progress. In conclusion, it has been possible to demonstrate how information and communication technologies facilitate educational innovation for a correct design and implementation of virtual learning environments.
The objective of the research was to determine the level of influence of the application of an organizer of research ideas systematized in a spreadsheet, in the investigative competences of postgraduate students of professional administration careers; being the specific objectives, to measure the level of investigative competences of postgraduate students of professional careers of administration before the use of the "Organizer of research ideas", to apply it in the process of methodological a dvice to the students selected as a sample, and to measure the results in the investigative competences of the selected students, after the application of the organizer of ideas. The perspective of the research was mixed, due to the fact that descriptive and correl ational statistical calculations were carried out, being positivist, and the interpretation of the quantitative results is qualitative, being relativistic, being the experimental design, without a control group and with the phases of pre and post test. The results sh owed that the majority of students in the pre-test were at the lowest level in the indicators related to the precision of the variables and the coherence between the various aspects of the investigation, and subsequently the existence of an important growth in the generation investigative skills. It is concluded that the application of an organizer of research ideas systematized in a spreadsheet increases the investigative skills of postgraduate students of professional administration careers.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
