We present experimental results on magnification dependent power penalty studied with a novel resonator-based time-stretch analog-to-digital converter. Exploiting the potential of variable magnification inherent to the resonator-based concept the dispersion penalty dependency on dispersion length and magnification factor is measured and compared to numerical calculations.

We present a resonator-based approach to time-stretch electrical signals with variable temporal magnification up to M=100 and a time-aperture up to 800 ps. Experimental results agree well with numerical calculations
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
