PT. Indosari Mandiri is an industrial company engaged in the manufacture of snacks. Problems that are being faced by PT. Indosari Mandiri is currently the number of defective products in flat wafer products, especially in Osuka wafer products. The number of product defects in the production process for one shift is an average of 30%. The current defect condition is very far from the tolerance of company defects which is 15%. To overcome these problems, Six Sigma methods are used. Six Sigma consists of Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve and Control (DMAIC). In the Define stage, the wafer osuka production process is defined and the Critical to Quality (CTQ) is determined. From the CTQ identification, there are several types of defects in the product, each of which is tough, the sheet is not full, dirty, broken, broken and peeled off. In the Measure stage, Six Sigma is calculated and determine the sigma level. In the Analyze stage, analysis of defect selection is done with a causal diagram or fishbone diagram, and the most dominant defects obtained are in the Creaming and Cutting section. The Improve stage is done by the Quality Function Deployment (QFD) method, to listen to the voices of loyal consumers of Osuka Wafer products. At the control stage, the input is only given to the company regarding the quality improvement of the osuka wafer product so that defective products can be suppressed. In this study it was concluded that improvements in the creaming and cutting process area need to be done immediately, in line with the QFD method that requires repairs to the area to improve or meet consumer desires.
Manisan tomat sebagai salah satu pengolahan makanan dari bahan tomat dan gula sehingga dapat menjadi solusi alternatif ekonomi bagi petani tomat. Untuk mendapatkan komposisi manisan tomat tepat maka diperlukan penelitian yang terkait dengan analisa pengaruh perbedaan dosis gula terhadap pengujian tekstur manisan tomat dengan metode Anova satu arah. Untuk mengetahui dosis gula yang terbaik dengan menggunakan metode pendekatan AHP. Untuk menetapkan spesifikasi kebutuhan dan keinginan konsumen didapat dengan menggunakan metode QFD. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dosis gula yang berbeda mempengaruhi tekstur manisan tomat. Hasil analisa dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dosis gula terbaik adalah 25%. Hasil analisa matriks House of Quality didapat bahwa keinginan terbesar konsumen terhadap produk manisan tomat adalah rasa manis, tekstur kenyal / tidak lembek dengan bobot kepentingan 207. Untuk respon kebutuhan teknis terbesar berdasarkan keinginan konsumen adalah harga Rp. 15.000,- per kemasan 250gram. harga tersebut sesuai penelitian dapat dijangkau di kalangan masyarakat dengan bobot kolom 4563.
Over time the wants and needs of consumers for a good or service always var. Understand that consumers are a very absolute obligation because consumers have diffent needs, desires and testes, so that the products to be offered must also be adjusted to the wants and needs of consumers. So that companies have to make new innovations or develop existing products so that the managed business will continue to survive. Due to product competition that accurs, companies must improve product quality in order to realize consumer desires. So that the soap industry must produce soap that is safe and of quality so as not to harm users. The purpose this research to be achieved is to determine the level of statisfaction of the variable consumers needs, the comparison of the relative importance (TKR) using the QFD method. From the HOQ matrix analysis, there are 12 variables of consumer desires and 12 variables of technical requirements for solid bath soap products. From the calculation of the improvement ratio value, it is found that 11 variables are in accordance with consumer desires (IR = 1) and 1 variable that is not in accordance with consumer desires because it has an IR value 0f 1.02 (IR>1) so that corrective action is needed. The technical requirements variable which is a priority has a value (3.897), variable the best meets consumer preferences has the greatest importance weight (TKK = 4.55)
PT. Tembaga Mulia Semanan adalah salah satu perusahaan yang bergerak dibidang peleburan tembaga terkemuka di Indonesia.Memiliki jumlah kerak tembaga sebanyak 32.266 kg. Masalah yang dihadapi perusahaan adalah ketika kerak tembaga ini harus dijual dan dihargai hanya 73% dari harga LME (London Metal Exchange). Sehingga perusahaan mengalami kerugian 27%. Untuk memperbaiki masalah ini perusahaan membuat alat pengolahan kerak tembaga dan melakukan analisa investasi alat pengolahan ketak tembaga ini. Hasil perhitungan metode NPV (Net Present Value) adalah RP 366,79 juta, maka layak secara economis. Hasil perhitungan metode IRR (Internal Rate of Return) untuk MARR 15% adalah IRR = 26,94%, maka investasi tersebut layak secara economis. Hasil perhitungan metode BCR (Benefit Cost Ratio) adalah 1,528 maka investasi tersebut layak secara economis. Hasil perhitungan metode PBP (Peyback period) adalah k = 2,621 < n = 10 tahun, maka memenuhi syarat dan layak secara economis.
