Based on the SIMULINK tool of MATLAB, the paper researches the ship power system, the research includes: load suddenly increased or decreased when one single generator is running, generators’ running in parallel, load suddenly increased or decreased when two generators are running in parallel. Through the analysis of the different work condition, the paper researches the transient stability of the ship power system.
New quick-response and high efficiency direct torque control method of Permanent magnet synchronous motor is proposed. The new method is realized by optimizing the switching frequency of the inverter and choosing the most fit voltage space vectors. Modeling and simulating such marine electric propulsion system using Matlab/Simulink is performed. The starting-up and dynamic simulation results prove that this method can be fully used onboard the future all electric ship.
Based on the combined programming for VB, Excel and MATLAB, the paper makes research on short-circuit current of marine AC power system. This method can not only draw precise calculations, but also has the function of making short-circuit current time curve. And it opens up a new way to study the short-circuit current.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
