The objective of this article is to investigate the level of digital maturity of the commerce and micro and companies sectors in the Sertão Central de Pernambuco. Its nature is exploratory and descriptive, it is classified as applied, of the Survey type, with an approach based on literature and application of a level of maturity measurement of MSEs. The survey results indicate that the digital transformation of MSEs in the Sertão Central de Pernambuco is still young and there is still a lot to be done, but it has started and shows promise. In this way, the research contributes to a better understanding of the digital transformation in the region by providing an overview of the changes that have taken place in the panoramic scenario in local small businesses. In addition, policies can be used to optimize the development of results that can be used in the region.
