MICROWAVE DEVICE FOR HEAT TREATMENT DIELECTRIC RODSThe present paper deals with MW device intended for the uniform heating of dielectric rods possessing low heat conductivity via their cross-section. The two sections positioned one after another, with different distribution functions of temperature field and temperature gradient along the radius (circular waveguide and diaphragmatic waveguide) serve as the electrodynamic device. The discrepancy between of the temperature field via cross-section of the dielectric rod did not exceed 10%.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
