the paper demonstrates the possibility of using closed down mines in don bass to form mini-energy complexes, which would reduce the dependence of the donetsk and lugansk People's republics industries on imported energy carriers. at the same time, the energy security is improved through the pro duction of liquid motor biofuel and generation of electric power. this also results in draining flooded areas by using pumps, collecting rainwater, pri mary water settling, and providing consumers with utility and potable water.
