237ChemInform Abstract The 2-aminotriazines (III), (V), and (VIII), prepared from guanidine (I) or its derivatives (IV) and (VI) and the nitriles (II) or the esters (VII), are coupled with nitrourea (IX) or phenyl isocyanate (XI) to give the N-triazinylureas (X) and (XII).

Die Bis‐trichlormethyl‐triazine (I) reagieren mit Natriumalkoholaten unter Bildung von Bisalkoxy‐triazinen (V), während mit Alkoholen in Gegenwart von Triethylamin nur eine Trichlormethylgruppe durch den Alkoxyrest substituiert wird.

ChemInform Abstract The title compounds (V) are prepared by cyclocondensation of the biguanides (III) with the methyl carboxylates (IV). These compounds may be of practical value as stabilizers in polymers, or for the preparation of detergents or germicides. A detailed discussion of the mass spectral fragmentation patterns of the title compounds (V) is given.
