A software package for parametric analysis of personal protective grounding (PPG) has been developed Comprehensive and detailed software models, which were developed for various transmission and distribution line configurations, permit a parametric study of all important variables in the PPG circuit. The software package was developed for the personal computer, and integrates the analytical capabilities of EMTP with a user interface constructed in a spreadsheet. Verification of the software was performed by conducting full-scale laboratory tests on a number of circuit configurations The results of this project will permit a comprehensive evaluation of PPG practices.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
