New nonlinear properties of the orthorhombic ferroelectric and ferroelastic Gd2(MoO4)3 crystals, the ability for efficient (up to 70%) generation of multiple (up to fourth) Stokes emission and creation of filament optical channeling, are observed. Gd2(MoO4)3 crystals with Ln3+ ions are supported to be also good candidates for lasers with self‐stimulated Raman scattering. For KY(WO4)2, KGd(WO4)2, and NaLa(MoO4)2 crystals new Stokes wavelengths were excited, too.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
