C Knight-shift tensors including both the isotropic and anisotropic parts of the organic conductors (fluoranthenyl)&X with X = AsF6 or PF6 have been obtained by NMR experiments on powdered samples and on single crystals. It is found that the anisotropic part of the Knight shift yields a more direct access to the local p, spin-density distribution of the conduction-electron band than the isotropic part.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
