Atypical radiological excretory patterns were analysed amongst 368 patients with histologically proven glomerulonephritis. Amongst the functional, i.e. reversible, changes 17% showed radiological abnormalities. In most cases, the clinical features indicated the diagnosis, but in a few it was necessary to add angiography to renal biopsy. The findings are discussed and related to the relevant literature.
