hypertensive pre-obese patients and non-obese hypertensive patients compared to healthy persons. Conclusions:The pronounced vasoconstriction and significant intima-media thickness were revealed in overweight patients with arterial hypertension. These data prove, that increased body mass-index contribute to endothelial dysfunction in patients with hypertension.Oxidative stress is involved in the pathophysiology and cardiovascular complications of metabolic syndrome.
