Abstract. The problem researched in this paper refers to the promotion of the evaluation system in the designing of the pre-school facilities, and the issue is approached from the pshychological aspect, in order to investigate the potential for improvement of this kind of structures. In the paper, the systematization of the physical environment factors and their influence on the cognitive processes and the social behavior of children in the pre-school facilities. The conclusion is that the quality of architectonic design, that is, the quality of organization and materialization of the designed physical environment of the pre-school premises correlates with the positive developmental results of the children.
This paper presents architectural project and simulation of energy consumption and production of a model of Energy Efficient House for Decentralized Energy (DE). The house model is designed for the area of Serbia, based on the needs of an average Serbian family. The model is designed to investigate opportunities for DE of typical house geometry with advantages of passive solar architecture combined with active solar systems and heat pump. Simulation of the model was performed for the climate conditions for the city of Nis. Thermal load for designed net-zero energy efficient home for a period of one year was simulated by means of TRNSYS software. With respect to renewable energy sources in Serbia, production of electrical, heating, and cooling energy by solar photovoltaic/thermal collectors, heat pump, and heat storage is considered. The balance of simulated annual electricity production and consumption show that the house model can produce 51% of its energy demands. Simulation results are used to determine pathways for model modification towards more effective solar harvesting for electricity production. V C 2013 AIP Publishing LLC. [http://dx.
The purpose of this study is to look for possibilities of more quality constructing, i.e. a better organization and materialization of pre-school premises, and also to deal with the problem which comes up considering children's developing needs, based on the psychological aspect and features such space has to have as children's residence. Here in the study has been done a systematization of the possible features of the space in pre-school premises where children can spend time considering the level of positive influence that space can have on their abilities development, as well as their cognition process and socialization
It is generally known that a man causes changes in the environment and thus many of these changes affect the relationship between man and his environment. Additionally, population increase and urban concentration directly contribute to pollution and degradation of the environment. Considering that building construction alone represents the largest segment of energy consumption in EU (over 40%), it is logical that it has aroused the interest of scientific and professional community in terms of finding new technologies for increasing building energy efficiency and applying renewable energy sources. Satisfaction of energy demand of a country depends not only on the available energy and economic resources, but also on economic-political and energy conditions in general environment.
