Objective: To evaluate the quality of mobile breastfeeding apps available electronically. Methods: Evaluative study of mobile applications available on digital platforms, conducted by searching the Play Store (Android) and App Store (IOS). by searching the Play Store (Android) and App Store (IOS). The instrument to assess the quality of applications was the Mobile App Rating Scale (MARS). Results: 12 applications were eligible and all were inserted into the information category. Most of them had an average quality score above 3 (10 apps). quality score above 3 (10 apps), one had an average score above 4, and one had an average score below 3. a 3. The apps scored well in the functionality domain, and presented acceptable engagement and acceptable aesthetics. Conclusion: The mobile apps focused on breastfeeding bring information that can that can clarify doubts of mothers, besides benefiting the professional practice in helping the practice of breastfeeding, favoring the continuity of assistance.
Objective: to analyze the sexual practice of women who have sex with women and its association with condom use. Methods: correlational study involving 231 women who have sex with women, recruited through electronic application (Instagram and WhatsApp). A questionnaire was applied through Google Forms, containing sociodemographic data, sexual history, and the types of sexual practices. Results: most women performed oral sex (86.4%) and manual sex (86.9%) without using condoms. A large proportion (84.8%) reported the use of fomites in sexual practices without condoms. The inexistence of a fixed partnership (p=0.000) and the performance of sex with vaginal contact (p=0.013) were associated with sexual intercourse without condoms. Conclusion: the sexual practice of women who have sex with women points to greater vulnerability to sexually transmitted infections, by practicing oral and vaginal sex with manual practices without the use of barrier methods.
Objetivo: avaliar a efetividade de atividade educativa on-line sobre aleitamento materno (AM) para conhecimento cognitivo de agentes comunitários de saúde (ACS). Métodos: estudo quase-experimental, realizado com agentes comunitários de saúde. Aplicou-se, previamente, teste do conhecimento sobre aleitamento materno. Em seguida, os participantes foram submetidos à atividade educativa on-line teórica e prática. Posteriormente, foi aplicado o pós-teste. Resultados: a amostra foi constituída por 53 profissionais. A atividade se mostrou efetiva, pois foi capaz de melhorar o conhecimento cognitivo dos profissionais sobre o aleitamento materno. Houve estatística significativa nas variáveis sobre fisiologia (p<0,001) e benefícios da amamentação (p<0,003), posição para amamentar (p<0,002), intervalos entre as mamadas (p<0,001), intercorrências mamárias (p<0,001) e conservação do leite (p<0,005). Conclusão: a estratégia educativa on-line obteve efetividade na melhora do conhecimento cognitivo dos ACS sobre AM em todos os aspectos abordados. Destacam-se evidências estatísticas referentes à diferença entre o conhecimento cognitivo prévio e o conhecimento posterior à atividade educativa on-line nas variáveis sobre fisiologia e benefícios da amamentação, técnica de amamentação, intervalos entre as mamadas, intercorrências mamárias e conservação do leite.
