ResumoAs mudanças que ocorrem ao longo do recozimento na microestrutura e textura foram observadas no aço inoxidável ferrítico estabilizado ao nióbio, tipo ASTM 430 por meio de Difração de Elétrons Retroespalhados. As amostras deformadas foram recozidas com uma taxa de aquecimento de 23,5°C/s. O recozimento foi interrompido nas temperaturas de 780, 830 e 880°C para acompanhar a evolução da microestrutura e textura. Os resultados mostraram que a nucleação dos novos grãos ocorre preferencialmente nos contornos de alto ângulo. No estágio inicial da recristalização a fibra γ é dominante na fração recristalizada, com as componentes 111 12 1 , 111 1 1 2 mais intensas. Na fração não recristalizada a fibra α foi mais intensa. No progresso da recristalização as componentes 111 12 1 e 111 1 1 2 permanecem predominantes, a fibra γ torna-se dominante em detrimento da fibra α. STUDY OF THE RECRYSTALLIZATION A NIOBIUM STABILIZED FERRITIC STAINLESS STEEL AbstractThe changes that occur during the annealing on the microstructure and texture were observed in the niobium stabilized ferritic stainless steel, type ASTM 430 by Electron Backscattered Diffraction. The cold rolled samples were annealed with at a heating rate of 23.5°C/s. The annealing was interrupted at 780, 830 and 880°C to verify the microstructure and texture evolution. The results showed that the nucleation of new grains occurs preferentially in the prior high-angle boundaries. In the early stage of recrystallization, the γ-fiber is dominant in the recrystallized fraction with high intensity in 111 12 1 and 111 1 1 2 . In the no-recrystallized fraction the α-fiber was more intense. In the progress of the recrystallization, the orientation 111 12 1 and remain prevalent and the γ-fiber becomes dominant rather than the α-fiber.
