This paper analyzes the indentation hardness and the indentation elastic modulus variation depending on the variation of the grind percentage of polymer, when the other factors that can influence the injection molding remain unchanged. The analyzed polymers were: acrylonitrile butadiene styrene ABS MAGNUM 3453, polyamide PA 6.6 TECHNYL AR218V30 Blak and polyoxymethylene POM EUROTAL C9 NAT. The samples that were studied had different compositions in new and grinding material. The G-Series Basic Hardness Modulus at a Depth method was used. The increase of the grind percentage of ABS (from 0 to 100 %) leads to insignificant changes in the indentation hardness, indentation modulus, and maximum force applied to samples of tested material. The maximum hardness (0.137 GPa) of PA 6.6 is recorded in the case of the sample with 80% grind content, and the maximum hardness of POM is recorded as well in the case of the sample with 80% grind content, as being 0.215 GPa. The variation of the grind content in the analyzed samples determines changes in the evaluated parameters, depending on the type of polymer. Combining the new material with grind in proportions experimentally established for each techno polymer leads to changes in their mechanical properties.
The global concern in wastewater recycling technologies has grown steadily since the early 1990s and is gaining more and more interest due to the increase in water supply needs. This growing need affects many global regions and leads to an increase in the strictness of environmental regulation, both in developing and developed countries. Many countries, cities and local governments are trying to recycle wastewater as a potential source of water for various uses, especially non-potable uses, such as land use, water for toilets and industrial processes. Analysts and statisticians around the world are trying to provide a perspective on an industry that is poised to see significant developments in the next decade. The researches summarize the experimental tests carried out using a new cellulosic adsorbent material to purify the wastewater resulted from the industrial processes for leather manufacturing. The study highlights the influence of the pH used for the wastewater depollution. The tracked and measured parameters include the pH, chemical oxygen demand, biochemical oxygen demand, total suspended solids, ammoniac nitrogen, organic compounds extractable in organic solvents and the solid residue adsorbed by the material. The obtained values were discussed in concordance with the national legislation for wastewater treatment and the levels accepted for releasing the used water in the surface waters.
Present paper presents design, build-up and testing of a communication interface used for data transmission at an electric system. The communication interface is a Serial Port Controller (SPC)RS485/RS422 and is part of a system used for monitoring electric parameters of a high power synchronous engine. Its main function is to collect information from analyser and bridge rectifier and to pass it to programmable logic controller and to display unit. TheRSx interface was designed using software Eagle 8.0.1 and its programming was made using software FlowCode 8. Physical and logical test results will be shown.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
